About Us

HelpVic was founded in 2012 to help the most vulnerable folks in the downtown and surrounding areas of Victoria, BC. We put together and distribute Care Packs directly to those who need them on the streets and in the shelters of our community. The packs contain everyday essentials such as toiletries and personal care items, as well as protective clothing and non-perishable food items.

Our Board of Directors consists of four community-minded people, who work tirelessly throughout the year to fundraise and collect items for the packs. Each hand-made item on our site is crafted by our volunteers - you may purchase these for yourself, or sponsor one to go into one of our Winter Care Packages.
